So my kids came home with a paper and told me and my wife that they wanted to join the ski/snowboard club, so we were like sure why not. Lets back track… I’ve lived in Minnesota almost my entire life and have never tried either sport, so I had no idea of the costs and gear required for these sports. So after spend over thousand dollars on getting the kids equipped, my wife and I decided to outfit ourselves too. Why not, it’s not very often in today’s day and age that we get an opportunity to participate in an activity (outdoor mind you) that the whole family enjoys. So after a few lessons, countless bruises (I think you know where), and four trips to the slopes, we are now to the point where the kids can only lap us one time down the hill.
